Two men shot dead in Jaffna

Men riding in motorbikes shot and killed two young men in two separate incidents in Jaffna, Thursday morning, police and hospital sources said. Civilian sources alleged that the killers were paramilitaries collaborating with Sri Lanka Army (SLA).
Nadarajah Ravindrakumar, 29, who owns a saloon at Inuvil junction, was shot and seriously injured while he was opening his shop, around 7.30 a.m.. He succumbed to his injuries at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital. Ravindrakumar is from Ilavalai. In the second incident, a 22 year old youth, Krishnapillai Srikrishnan, was shot and killed by armed men, at Irupalai, around 8:30 a.m. Earlier, three youths were shot and seriously injured by armed men riding a motorbike at Irupalai, Wednesday evening.
