Sri Lanka Air Force Kfir jets Wednesday bombed LTTE controlled Vadamaradchi East . A civilian was wounded when the bombers hit Thattuvankotti, located on A9 road, between Elephant Pass and Paranthan, 6.5 km north of Kilinochchi. The attack took place around 1:00 p.m.

The wounded civilian was identified as P.Indrakumar, 40, from Thottiadi in Visuvamadu.

Kfir bombers on Monday bombed Sencholai children home in Mullaithivu district, killing scores of schoolgirls and wounding more than 129.

The Liberation Tigers had warned the Sri Lankan Government last week that continued aerial and artillery attacks on Tamil territories would be interpreted as declaration of war by the Government of Sri Lanka.
