NTT to broadcast LTTE Leader's speech live

National Television of Tamileelam (NTT) will be broadcasting live the annual policy address delivered by the LTTE Leader Mr. Velupillai Pirapaharan at 12:00 GMT Sunday on the occassion of Heroes Day, the officials of the Television in Kilinochchi said. The broadcast, using Eurostar at frequency 11.5 GHz, is viewable in Sri Lanka and Southeast Asian countries. Meanwhile, Tamil televisions in Europe and Canada are also expected to broadcast Mr. Pirapaharan's speech live, according to media sources in Europe.

The NTT television, launched in March 2005, expanded its coverage to southeast asian countries in August 2005.

The Television reaches India, parts of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Mayanmar and China, normally for two hours between 13.30 - 15.30 GMT.
