One killed, two more bodies found dumped in Jaffna

The bodies of two young men with gun shot injuries were found dumped in two different locations in Inuvil in Jaffna, Sunday morning. Meanwhile, a 46-year old man was shot dead at Kondavil, around 12:30 p.m., Saturday.

Lingam Rajanikanth,28, was shot dead near Kondavil Hospital by two men who had been following him, sources said.

The naked body of Kumarasamy Thayaparan,38, father of five, was found near Kandaswamy Tempel in Inuvil West, Sunday.

Local residents said he was shot dead around 9 p.m., while curfew imposed by Sri Lanka Army was enforce.

Another body was found near railway level crossing in Inuvil East.

He was identified by his wife as Sivasubramanium Krishnakumar,31, father of two. He was living with his family in Uduvil.

Krishnakumar's wife said her huband went to visit his mother living at Navanthurai in Jaffna around 4 p.m., Saturday.

Also last month a body of civilian who was abducted men in white van was dumped at this place, villagers said.
