The body did not have any gunshot injuries but blood was found coming out of his nose and ears, leading to speculation that trauma due to extended physical training had cause the death, informed sources in Thenmaraadchi said. The trooper was fortifying the FDL at the time of his death, sources said. However, mystery continues to surround the trooper's death. Arrangements have been made to transport the body of the trooper to Palaly to be taken to Colombo and then to his home town.
