SLA shells IDP settlements in Ki'linochchi

The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) launched artillery fire towards Union-ku'lam and Oottup-pulam villages with Internally Displaced Persons, southwest of Ki'ilnochchi town, Tuesday morning around 8:10 a.m. Artillery shells exploded near IDP settlements.

No one was wounded in the attack.

Civilians have started fleeing the attacked villages, that are located 1 km away from Puthumu'rippu village, where 5 internally displaced civilians, including two children were killed in SLA artillery shelling on Saturday.
