2 male bodies recovered in Jaffna

Kodikaamam police recovered Friday the body of a youth suspected to have been knifed to death five days ago, dumped in a deserted shrub land on the outskirts of Mirusuvil in Thenmaraadchi. Meanwhile, Koappaay police recovered the body of a family man gone missing from Irupaalai in Valikaamam East from a well in Ka'l'liyangkaadu in Jaffna.
A part of a leg of the body found in Murusivil is missing while there are knife injuries to the neck, the police, who handed the body to Jaffna Teaching Hospital mortuary Friday night, said. Three persons, including a student, had been abducted from Thenmaraadchi five days ago from Thenmaraadchi. Hospital authorities have requested help from the pubic to have the body identified. Meanwhile, Koappaay police recovered the body of Sivakolunthu Yogeswaran, 51, a family man gone missing from home in Irupaalai after having left to Thirunelveali three days ago. The police handed over the body to Jaffna hospital mortuary Saturday. A few days ago a person from Thenmaraadchi who had been admitted in JTH and then gone missing was recovered dead and dumped in a well in Ka'l'liyangkaadu
