Thirteen Tigers killed in sea battle -VoT

The Liberation Tigers announced in the Vanni this morning that 13 Sea Tigers were killed yesterday around 5.30 a.m. in a mid sea battle with the Sri Lankan Navy (SLN) near the island of Kachchathivu, north west of Jaffna, close to the Indian maritime zone.

The morning broadcast of the Voice of Tigers said the following were killed in the confrontation with the SLN:

Nahulan (Muruhavel Kaanatheepan, Jaffna)
Navarasan (Sellaiah Suthanthirarajah, Kilinochchi)
Sudar Vannan (Vilvaratthinam Sasi-alahan, Jaffna)
Kaanahan (Nallalingam Naagaraja, Jaffna)
Kadal Arasan (Subramaniam Muhunthan, Kilinochchi)
Ahavoli (Santhanam Antony Pratheepan, Alampil)
Isai Amuthan (Kayambu Puvenenthiran, Vavuniya)
Velavan (Mahenthiran Gnanachelvam, Jaffna)
Thamilneyan (Sivalingam Sivanesan, Puthukkudiyiruppu)
Kandappan (Sebastianpillai Thaventhiran, Kilinochchi)
