SLA organises religious festival

A Hindu priest and 42 devotees attended a special 'Pooja' held at the Keerimalai Naguleswarar temple in view of the Hindu religious festival, 'Maha Sivarathri', said sources in Jaffna.

The devotees were transported by the Sri Lankan Army from Thellipalai to the temple and brought back.

Devotees said the SLA had a canteen for the devotees at Keerimalai. However the SLA served cake and fish buns at the canteen, food that they don't eat, especially on religious festivals.
