The arrested youth had been produced in the court for the killing of the SP but had been released for want of evidence. The arrested youth is Prasanth, 28, a resident near Katpaka Pi値値aiyaar Koayiladi in Uduvil East. He was arrested in his home.

Though the police had arrested him a few days ago he is yet to be produced in the court, the sources added.
