A bungalow for SLFP representatives to stay in has also been constructed at state expense, in Jaffna. Informed sources said that a minister in Rajapaksa government and the deputy of the SLFP Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Karuna, a former LTTE commander who defected the Tigers and became a paramilitary operative of the Sri Lankan government, will be staying in the bungalow during his campaign for the Sri Lankan President Rajapaksa.
