Male body recovered from Thalaimannaar sea coast

A decomposed corpse of a male was recovered from Nadukkudaa in Thalaimannaar coast Monday by the Thalaimannaar Police. The corpse was later handed to the Mannaar general hospital for further investigation.

Mannaar Magistrate and District Judge Ms Jeevaranee Tuesday inspected the body at the hospital and ordered the police to transfer the body to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital for further investigation.

The recovery of the dead body comes at a time Tamil Nadu fishermen being attacked by the Sri Lanka Navy.
