LTTE names fighters killed in action

Liberation Tigers and Sri Lanka Army soldiers continued to exchange heavy artillery and mortar fire in Nagar Kovil, Vadamaradchi East and in Thenmaradchi sector, said sources in Jaffna.
Meanwhile the Voice of Tigers radio announced Saturday the names of 19 LTTE fighters died in the ongoing military operation Unceasing Waves-4, launched on 26 September.
They are:

2. Yarlmathi (Arulappu Vasanthakumari, Vavuniya)
3. Mathana (Arumukam Thanalukshmi, Batticaloa)
4. Thaninila (Irathinam Thilakavathy, Jaffna)
5. Ilayatharshini (Manickam Bhavani, Jaffna)
6. Arularasi (Uthayakumar Thavamanithevi, Kandy)
7. Cpt.Arivoli (Thevasakayam Kamalathas, Vavuniya)
8. Elilarasi (Thangavel Jeyasree, Kandy)
9. Shanthakumari (Soosaiappu Morais Ramani, Mannar)
10. Velini (Murugaiah Sathananthalukshmi, Vavuniya)
11. Kalaichudar (Nallathmby Vijeyaluxshmi, Mannar)
12. Ilakkana (Jeevaratnam Balasulojini, Oddusuddan)
13. Thenvili (Irathinam Jenitha, Oddusuddan)
14. Akalya (Rajeswaran Kalaiarasi, Pooneryn)
15. Kuddivengai (Sahayanathan Grace, Colombo)
16. Lt.Nilamakal (Kandaiah Sivaranjini, Jaffna)
17. 2nd Lt.Ilamathy (Thurairasa Thadshayini, Jaffna)
18. Thirumaran (Pakiayanathan Rajitharan, Jaffna)
19. Sothi (Kanthasamy Sothinathan, Visuvamadhu)
The radio further said a LTTE member identified as Nilavan (Arumugam Suresh, Jaffna) died in an accidental explosion at Kalvayal on Friday.
Two more LTTE members identified as Capt.Senthamarai (Veerakuddy Rasu, Batticaloa) and Capt.Vasu (Nadarasa Sreetharan, Ampara) were killed in a confrontation with the Special Task Force commandos at Kanchikudichcha Aaru on 3 October, the radio said.
Meanwhile two policemen were killed when the Liberation Tigers ambushed a police jeep at 3rd Colony in Central Camp on 4 October. A LTTE member identified as Lt.Panpiniyan (Ganeshamoorthy Ramachandran, Batticaloa) died in the confrontation, the radio said.
