Three SLA soldiers killed -VoT

The Liberation Tigers attacked a sentry post in the Manal Aaru region in the north-east of the island, killing three government troops, the Voice of Tigers (VoT) radio said in its night news bulletin Monday.
LTTE fighters attacked the sentry post that was situated between the Sri Lanka Army camp at Kokkuthoduvaai and Koddaikerny, around 12 midnight Sunday, the radio said. The Tigers recovered two bodies of the soldiers and weapons from the sentry post. AK Light Machine Gun -01, T-56 assault riffles -02, bombs-07, claymore mine-01, more than thousand medium range rounds and one communication equipment were among the weapons recovered by the Tigers, according to the radio. The radio also said four LTTE members died in confrontations with government troops during the period between 13 and 16 July.
