Tigers say fighting continues

The Voice of Tigers (VoT) broad cast this morning gave the names of six more Tigers who were killed in the fighting in Kilinochchi. The Radio quoted the Eelanatham daily which is published in the Vanni saying that the fighting has been going on for more than 24 hours.
The radio, quoting the paper, said that the LTTE had taken on the army positions with precise fire. Meanwhile ICRC sources said today that the army has requested them to take over the bodies of more than two hundred Tigers who had been killed in the attack on Kilinochchi and Paranthan yesterday. The SLA said that an attempt by a group of Tigers to infiltrate and destroy it heavy artillery firing base in Iyakkachchi, south east of Jaffna, had been foiled and all twelve Tigers who took part in the raid were killed.
