Resettlement plans for Madhu refugees

Navy opens fire on fishermen

The Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) shot at two fishermen off the Pesalai coast this morning, said sources. Thirunaavukarasu Mariyadas (46) and Pethuru Yesu Pavaliyappar (35) are from Thevanpiddy, a fishing village near Vellaankulam in the LTTE held areas of the areas of the Vanni.
