Norway says peace hopes at new low

Japan funds Surgery Unit in Kilinochchi

Japanese Government funded new Intensive Care Unit (ICU)was opened at the Kilinochchi Hospital Tuesday, sources from Vanni said. Dr. Yugi Miahara from the Economic Division of the Japanese Embassy unveiled the name plate and opened the new building during the opening ceremony.

Jaffna wins crown in first NorthEast athletic meet

Trincomalee district became the runners-up and the third place went to Mannar district. Navy arrests 29 Tamil refugees in Talaimannar Sea
