Finland promises humanitarian assistance

Director General of Finland Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Americas and Asia section, Ms Paivi Luostarinen, told the Liberation Tigers delegation that Finland will continue its humanitarian assistance to NorthEast, and extend its support to the peace process including the activities of the Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission, during a meeting Friday held at the Finnish Ministry building, LTTE sources in Finland said.

LTTE delegation meets Dutch Foreign Affairs Ministry Official

The Dutch official stressed the urgent need for resumption of talks between the Sri Lanka Government and the LTTE so that the humanitarian needs of the people can be addressed without delay.

Pt. Pedro UC should turn in keys daily, orders SLA

The Sri Lanka Police (SLA) has ordered the Point Pedro Urban Council (UC) authorities to hand over their office keys to the Police Station which is located inside the high security zone daily in the evening and take back next morning. LTTE delegation bound for Holland

The LTTE delegation is currently on a tour of European countries and are completing a three-day stay in Vienna, Austria, following their arrival in Geneva Switzerland on 1st October.

Shadow war endangering CFA- paper
