The violent Sinhala military officers had also seized the identity documents from the Tamil GS officer. The Sri Lankan State is accelerating Sinhala colonization with the aim of permanently wedging the demographic contiguity of the northern and eastern provinces at Kokkuth-thoduvaay, a strategic village situated in Mullaiththeevu district. Colombo regime is deploying SL Navy, Army, Police and various ministries to carry out the structural and demographic genocide. Full story >> [TamilNet, Friday, 08 April 2016, 15:18 GMT] While R. Sampanthan, M.A.Sumanthiran and Mavai Senathiraja belonging to Ilangkai Thamizh Arasuk Kadchi (ITAK) were on a collaborating course with the Sri Lankan regime on the advice from Washington and New Delhi, ITAK Parliamentarian Sivagnanam Sritharan, who has also been alleged of playing into the hands of the US Embassy, which got him to collaborate with M.A. Sumanthiran, went on record on Friday at a protest in Jaffna stating that he had no faith in the ruling regime and said the current regime has failed in building confidence and building peace with Tamils. Sritharan was protesting along with NPC Councillors and TNPF politicians in laying siege to the Divisional Survey Office at Thirunelveali in Jaffna. A large part of such labour migrants from Guyana to Fiji were Tamils. It was such outlook of New Delhi that made it to go for ‘elite to elite’ deal with Sinhala-Buddhist Colombo in endorsing the disenfranchisement of the upcountry Tamils in Ceylon. Later the attitude was extended for New Delhi to become a crucial partner in the genocide cum continued genocide of Eezham Tamils having their own historical country in the island. Now there is the ‘military to military’ relationship for corporate elite pally-pally. The ultimate aim, as attested by historical precedents, is Tamil Nadu and India, commented political observers in Jaffna comparing the genocidal Sri Lanka Navy-backed Sinhala Buddhicisation to the times of Parakramabahu I in the 12th century. This king who militarily occupied the country of Eezham Tamils and titled himself as ‘Sahala Simhala Chakravarti’ (All Sinhala Emperor), built a navy at Kayts and Mannaar and in the next stage occupied Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu to build Buddhist stupas there. The native people are afraid to voice against the cultural and demographic genocide taking place. The SL Navy has been exerting pressure on them to ‘admit’ that they were ‘welcoming’ the plans for erecting a controversial 61-feet Buddha statue along the seashore. The move is a clear exclusivist Sinhala-Buddhist engineering, says NPC Councillor Vinthan Kanagaratnam. The claimed name change is actually being contemplated by a small group, the EPRLF ‘Padmanaba wing’, which is neither part of the TNA nor has any electoral standing. This group is led by former North-Eastern Provincial Council Chief Minister Mr Varatharaja Perumal, who is widely seen as an agent of Indian Intelligence. In 2009, immediately after the Vanni genocide, the then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK Chief Mr M. Karunanidhi also gave instructions to remove the word Eezham in public places. Mr Karunanidhi reportedly has said that it was the wish of the ‘Central agencies’ of India. Can we not instead question these identities and consider alternatives. The continuation of such identities is inherently anti-democratic. They were meant for a colony not for a free democracy,” says Professor Romila Thapar, in an article “Religion-based Nationalism is back in Full Force” that appeared on Tuesday. The very same comment could be made on New Delhi academic preceptors of the so-called progressive forces in India and their followers inside and outside of India endorsing the identity of genocidal Sri Lankan State, for the continuation of a model meant for imperialism, responded Tamil activists for alternative politics in the island. The sexually abused girl managed to escape from the custody of the SLA soldier from the nearby Ma'ravaan-pulavu village on Tuesday. As the incident prompted anger among the public, the SL Police was forced to launch a search operation to capture the SLA trooper. During the search operation, the SL Police entered the house of a 31-year-old man and located explosives at Ma'ravanpulavu on Tuesday evening. In the meantime, Colombo-based media, including Indian and Western agencies, engaged in agenda-driven reporting, conveniently censored the chain of events and highlighted only the discovery of explosives. As the SL military is engaged in consolidating its temporary structures with permanent walls in the recent days, the people were shocked to see the huge statues that have been erected inside the military fortifications across the district. At the same time, the SL military has already handed over a large area within the Dutch Fort to Colombo's Archaeology Department, which has been a key architect in conceiving and executing cultural genocide against Eezham Tamils. The Netherlands is about to launch renovation of the Fort through SL ‘Army and Archaeology’ paradigm. A huge Buddha statue raised by the SL Army is causing controversy in the predominantly Tamil-speaking city. He was referring to his response to the judicial appointments made by Rajapaksa, and was projecting that to his credibility in dismissing criticisms against him on the role he played in bailing out Rajapaksa who carried out the genocidal conviction of Washington-London-New Delhi bandwagon. The question comes whether the Commonwealth has also given a compendium to Rajapaksa below the radar to carry out the genocide of Eezham Tamils as one of the best practices of the Commonwealth, commented Tamil activists for alternative politics in the island. The UN Under-Secretary-General for Communication and Public Information had revoked Mr Lee's resident correspondent pass and his access to the press office. On Tuesday this week, Ms Ananthy, who came back to Jaffna after addressing the Human Rights Council session in Geneva, received a written reply from Una McCauley, the UN Resident Coordinator and UNICEF Resident Representative in Colombo that Mr Lee is now provided non-Resident Correspondent access. ICP Journalist Matthew Russell Lee, after seeing the letter received by Ananthy, commented it as an “untruthful and Kafka-esque response”. The 65,000 ‘housing scheme’, with an inbuilt agenda of sophisticated colonisation scheme, is also a good case-study for the sections among Tamils, who are being taken for a ride, to learn how multiple interests of the external ‘stakeholders’ are jointly facilitating the Colombo-centric ‘Sri Lanka’. After the 2009 genocidal war, Tamils are now being given a lesson in how globalisation is ‘benefiting’ them, commented Tamil activists for alternative politics in the island. The SL Police officials are working hard to twist the facts that the exhumed remains were from a burial site while the two burial sites used by the villagers are situated far away from the mass grave site. In the meantime, Sri Lankan Special Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Colombo is unnecessarily dragging the process of determining the institution outside the island to determine the characteristics of the victims who died, how they died and how long ago they died. Combining the funding through ‘Colonial heritage’ masters in Europe, Maithiri – Ranil regime is advancing the ‘Army and Archaeology’ paradigm of Rajapaksa regime into new genocidal heights, commented political observers in Jaffna after witnessing the way of the launching of ‘Historical Monuments of the Jaffna Fort’ with a politicized ‘antiquities replica shop’ and the Nalloor office for ‘Jaffna Project’ of ‘Central Cultural Fund’. The STF units, formed during the times of late SL President J.R. Jayawardene and trained by the British, were further strengthened by his successor, the late SL President Ranasinghe Premadasa. The STF camped at the premises of DS office in 1990 is still stationed there despite the end of war in Batticaloa in 2007. A torture chamber is located inside this notorious camp where several Eezham Tamils abducted by the white-van squads in the past, have been subjected to ‘enforced disappearances’. Ka'luvaagnchik-kudi is located about 30 km south of Batticaloa on Kalmunai road. The occupying Sinhala soldiers are transforming their temporary positions into permanent structures. Even the travellers along the A32 Highway from Mannaar through Poonakari to Jaffna could witness the systematic deployment of the SL soldiers being busily engaged in consolidating their positions and cantonments. The betrayal committed upon the Eezham Tamils by the Geneva-based ‘Human Rights’ discourse, which is primarily exploited by the world powers for their geopolitical manoeuvrings on the island, has ended up strengthening the military grip of genocidal Sri Lanka on Eezham Tamils. Hailing from Polonnaruwa, Mr Sirisena has been implementing a long-term Sinhalicisiation agenda within the System B, which is the largest of Mahaweli ‘Development’ programme, consisting of 75,441 ha., including 27,179 ha of irrigable lands.

This section of Tamil polity deserves the attack, as it is still impotent for a global struggle-based polity but argues for posing as victims appealing to the very culprits, which gives the finishing touches to the ‘counterinsurgency’ agenda. However, the ‘world socialists’ conditioned by the so-called ‘Sri Lanka’, created and being propped up by the very imperialists, don’t answer the most crucial question why this ‘Sri Lanka’ should be a single unit in the global struggle of the world working class, commented Tamil activists for alternative politics.
