The area, known as Noolam-paadi and as Club area, has been under the illegal custody of the occupying Sri Lanka Navy since 2007. Most of the uprooted Mayiliddi fishermen still reside along the coastal stretch of Valveddiththu'rai (VVT), Point-Pedro towards Naakar-koayil of Vadamaraadchi East. The Sinhala military is still not prepared to open the coastal road to enable the uprooted Mayiliddi fishermen to travel forth and back to their coastal jetty and engage in fishing along the rich fish beds off Mayiliddi coast, civil sources in VVT told TamilNet. The SL Navy officers were citing the ‘defence’ of the so-called ‘sovereignty’ of genocidal Sri Lanka as the prime reason, at a meeting held in Muzhangkaavil on Thursday, when two ITAK MPs from Vanni met SL ‘State Minister’ for Defence Ruwan Wijewardene, SL Navy commanders and D.M. Swaminthan, a SL ‘Cabinet Minister’ of Resettlement, Prison and Hindu affairs. Finally, a token measure has been promised in the form of allowing Poonakari Divisional Secretariat to survey only 159 of the entire 1,200 acres of lands. Occupying Colombo's Forest Department and Department of Wildlife Conservation have been deployed for several years in systematically transforming the private and most of the non-residential lands in Mannaar and Vanni into the property of the SL State through blindly deploying the statutes, ordinances and acts of the unitary constitution of genocidal ‘Sri Lanka’. In the meantime, the West has been playing a destructive ‘diplomacy’ by abetting the SL State as it was doing during the times of war, ruining the very survival of the nation of Eezham Tamils in their homeland. Swaminathan has provided 148 million rupees to the occupying Sinhala military in Keappaa-pulavu without securing any guarantee of freeing the lands that are being actually demanded by the uprooted people of Keappaa-pulavu. The SL minister transferred 50 million rupees also in the past. He claims that the money was intended to enable SL military to find alternative locations for itself and release the lands of people. However, as evidenced last time, the occupying military didn’t relocate itself. Instead, it only released forested lands located elsewhere from the coast of Nanthik-kadal. At the same time, the people have no means of livelihood if they are not allowed to resettle along the fishing coast and in the fertile lands situated close to the lagoon. P.M. Hariz, who hails from Kerala, was previously GOC-in-C at Army Training Command in Shimla. Within two weeks, India rushed with its interests in operating Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) for 40 years.

Swaminathan has become a money transfer agent between the occupying military of genocidal Sri Lanka and the Western donor states backing the unitary State based in Colombo, commented Tamil activists in Mullaiththeevu after meeting a delegation of protesting people from Keappaa-pulavu, who met the SL minister on Wednesday. The SL Minister, in his meeting with the representatives of the protesting people, has revealed that the SL military was demanding 148 million rupees in order to release 110 acres of their lands in the ‘next phase’. The so-called international community seems to pay money to its Lascarine military. Swaminathan, who was visiting Keappaa-pulavu on Wednesday as part of a SL military conceived deception of releasing lands back to the people. None of the plots in the ‘released’ 189 acres of lands belong to the uprooted 138 families in Keappaa-pulavu who have been involved in the protest. The disappointed protesters exposed how the SL military is trying to release lands elsewhere in the jungle outlet and buying time and money without releasing even an iota of the lands of Keappaa-pulavu families. In the meantime, Colombo is scheming Sinhalicisation through seizing 2,524 acres of lands in Kokkuththoduvaay to permanently wedge North and East. Zeid was telling this in the context of the outlook of Trump, May, Duterte, and the governments of Egypt, Bahrain and Turkey. The belated response comes as the obsession is mainly on heightened confrontation of the West with the Islamic World, and as the former paradigm setters in the US and UK are now in the opposition. A bandwagon of governments and the UN were abetting when the paradigm was set in the genocide of Eezham Tamils. Now, Trump and May only tacitly help moral vindication of the case of Eezham Tamils that was not coming through any formal ‘international investigation,’ commented Tamil activists for alternative politics in the island. The CSD, which is an official SL military-outfit, is still operating the farms and pre-schools, where it has deployed around 10,000 enslaved ex-members of the LTTE as a slave workforce. Following strong criticisms, there was a brief period where the SL military kept a low profile in the practice of enforcing the uniform on pre-school children for some time. Now, there is another attempt of promoting CSD branded uniforms in the preschools in Mullaiththeevu and Ki'linochchi districts.
