[TamilNet, Monday, 18 July 2016, 18:01 GMT]
Vinthan KanagaratnamLatest photographs from Nayinaa-theevu islet off Jaffna reveal that the occupying Navy of genocidal Sri Lanka being deployed in the construction of controversial 67-feet Buddha statue disregarding the sentiments of the gagged Eezham Tamil population in the islet under military occupation. “Eezham Tamils have clearly articulated their objection to the controversial move. If the new regime, which has came to power using Tamils‘ votes, didn’t want to respect the sentiments of Eezham Tamils, and if the SL President has sanctioned this illegitimate project, he has just invoked an act of aggression, not only against the Eezham Tamils, but also against the 70-million Tamils of Tamil Nadu,” NPC Councillor Vinthan Kanagaratnam told TamilNet on Monday. The public in Jaffna will raise against this move, he said.

[TamilNet, Sunday, 10 July 2016, 23:14 GMT]
On 15th of June, Indonesian authorities apprehended 44 Eezham Tamils en route to Australia in a fishing trawler in the eastern province of Aceh. Indonesian officials prohibited the refugees from disembarking upon Indonesian soil stating that they were not eligible for asylum. During one incident, as five Tamil women attempted to disembark, Indonesian authorities were reported to have fired gunshots in the air. Pictures emerged, with one of the Eelam Tamil women in tears mimicking with her hand a gun pointed to her head. The silence from the International Community of Establishment (ICE) was ‘demonstrated’ when Colombo’s officials through a UN body visited Indonesia in order to negotiate the return of the refugees back to Colombo’s military rule, from which they were fleeing.

Colombo's ‘Mahaweli Authority’ chases away resettled Eezham Tamils in Kokkuth-thoduvaay

[TamilNet, Sunday, 12 June 2016, 21:18 GMT]
Genocidal Sri Lanka's Ministry of ‘Mahaweli Development & Environment’, which is led by SL President Maithiripala Sirisena, has started to deploy violence to chase away the resettled Eezham Tamils at 15th Mile Post in Kokkuth-thoduvaay, a strategically situated coastal village in Karai-thu'raip-pattu division of Mullaiththeevu district, the affected families complained. On 02 June, SL Forest Department personnel, accompanied by ‘Mahaweli Development’ officials forcibly removed the temporary huts of some of the resettled Tamil families at 15th Mile Post. After the end of genocidal onslaught on Vanni in May 2009, the project of Sinhalicisation has been intensified through the Sinhala colony of Padaviya in Anuradhapura and Vavuniyaa districts and the entire Ma'nalaa'ru (Weli-oya) area has been fully Sinhalicised and emerged as the ‘Sinhala Only’ administrative division in Mullaiththeevu.

‘Sinhala Ravaya’ colony in Jaffna, outcome of US-Indian policy

[TamilNet, Wednesday, 25 May 2016, 23:42 GMT]
0SL President Maithiripala Sirisena, genocidal Sri Lanka’s occupying Sinhala military, the Special Task Force (STF) and Colombo’s ‘National’ Housing Development Authority (NHDA) have all joined hands with a Sinhala-Buddhist extremist group, ‘Sinhala Ravaya’, in extending the Sinhala military colony at Naavatkuzhi, which is situated at the entry point to the Jaffna City. In recent days, the Sinhala colony has received a new name board, naming the village as “Sinhala Ravaya Gama” (Sinhala Ravaya Village). What is practically evolving after 7 years of Mu’l’livaaykkaal tells the actual agenda of USA and India, commented political observers in Jaffna, urging the affected nation of Eezham Tamils to identify and act against the ultimate culprits and their ‘vision’ of genocidal handling through Agent States.

[TamilNet, Monday, 16 May 2016, 20:13 GMT]
0Genocidal State of Sri Lanka, regardless of regimes coming to power in Colombo, has been intensely spearheading a Sinhala colonisation programme to wedge the North and East at several strategic locations in the north of Trincomalee district and in the south of Mullaiththeevu district in North. Recently, the SL Ministry of Buddha Sasana in Colombo has approved funds to construct four new Buddhist temples (pansala) and viharas in predominantly Tamil-speaking Thennai-maravadi and Pulmoaddai areas that come under the Kuchchave'li division, Tamil civil sources in Trinocmalee told TamilNet on Monday. In the meantime, several pansalas are to be constructed in the bordering largely Sinhala division of Morawewa, where two Tamil villages, Panku'lam and Nochchik-ku'lam, are being subjected to Sinhalicisation, the sources further said.

Sinhala intrusion of fishing trawlers accelerate with military backing in North

[TamilNet, Friday, 22 April 2016, 22:14 GMT]
The livelihood of Tamil fishermen from Mukaththuvaaram in Kokkuth-thoduvaay in Mullaiththeevu district to Naakar-koayil and Point-Pedro in Jaffna has been seriously affected by the fishermen from South who operate multi day boats off Vadamaraadchi and Karaithu'raip-pattu with the full backing of the occupying Army and Navy of genocidal Sri Lanka, says S. Mariyathas, the chairman of the society of fishing associations in Mullaiththeevu. The Tamil fishermen are not allowed to operate multi day boats. Sinhala fishermen from South deploy banned methods, including the use of poisonous leaves to catch cuttle fish in large scale. The fishermen park their boats at military camps and transport the catch to South, Mariyathas further said.

New Delhi approach to apartheid South Africa should open eyes of global Tamils

[TamilNet, Thursday, 07 April 2016, 00:05 GMT]
0A secret document of 1949, recently unearthed from South African diplomatic archives, shows that contrary to India’s outward show of opposition to apartheid, the actual thinking in New Delhi diplomacy was prepared to make secret elitist deals with apartheid South Africa, scapegoating its own people who had gone as victims of colonial labour as ‘not of the best type’ of Indians. A large part of such labour migrants from Guyana to Fiji were Tamils. It was such outlook of New Delhi that made it to go for ‘elite to elite’ deal with Sinhala-Buddhist Colombo in endorsing the disenfranchisement of the upcountry Tamils in Ceylon. Later the attitude was extended for New Delhi to become a crucial partner in the genocide cum continued genocide of Eezham Tamils having their own historical country in the island. Now there is the ‘military to military’ relationship for corporate elite pally-pally.

Deeper motives of Nayinaatheevu Sinhala Buddhicisation aim Tamil Nadu, India

[TamilNet, Wednesday, 06 April 2016, 10:23 GMT]
0There are motives deeper than mere demographic genocide of the country of Eezham Tamils in the Sinhala-Buddhicisation of Nayinaa-theevu, Nedun-theevu (Delft) and Mannaar by the Colombo-centric State in the island. The ultimate aim, as attested by historical precedents, is Tamil Nadu and India, commented political observers in Jaffna comparing the genocidal Sri Lanka Navy-backed Sinhala Buddhicisation to the times of Parakramabahu I in the 12th century. This king who militarily occupied the country of Eezham Tamils and titled himself as ‘Sahala Simhala Chakravarti’ (All Sinhala Emperor), built a navy at Kayts and Mannaar and in the next stage occupied Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu to build Buddhist stupas there.

Indian intelligence, media insinuate Eezham Tamils to drop ‘Eelam’ in party names

[TamilNet, Friday, 01 April 2016, 16:52 GMT]
The Eelam People’s Revolutionary Liberation Front (EPRLF), led by Mr Suresh Premachandran, has denounced on Friday a narration given by the Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) that one of the oldest parties of early Tamil militant legacy was dropping the terms ‘Eelam’ and ‘Liberation’ in its party name. The claimed name change is actually being contemplated by a small group, the EPRLF ‘Padmanaba wing’, which is neither part of the TNA nor has any electoral standing. This group is led by former North-Eastern Provincial Council Chief Minister Mr Varatharaja Perumal, who is widely seen as an agent of Indian Intelligence. In 2009, immediately after the Vanni genocide, the then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK Chief Mr M. Karunanidhi also gave instructions to remove the word Eezham in public places. Mr Karunanidhi reportedly has said that it was the wish of the ‘Central agencies’ of India.

Sinhala military of US design consolidates along Palk Bay challenging Tamil Nadu

[TamilNet, Thursday, 17 March 2016, 23:07 GMT]
0Hundreds of soldiers of genocidal Sri Lanka have been deployed between Iluppaik-kadavai in Maanthai-West of Mannaar and the strategic Poonakari in the north of Vanni mainland along the coastal belt facing the Palk Bay in recent days. The occupying Sinhala soldiers are transforming their temporary positions into permanent structures. Even the travellers along the A32 Highway from Mannaar through Poonakari to Jaffna could witness the systematic deployment of the SL soldiers being busily engaged in consolidating their positions and cantonments. The betrayal committed upon the Eezham Tamils by the Geneva-based ‘Human Rights’ discourse, which is primarily exploited by the world powers for their geopolitical manoeuvrings on the island, has ended up strengthening the military grip of genocidal Sri Lanka on Eezham Tamils.

Colombo silently consolidates military positions facing Gulf of Mannaar

[TamilNet, Tuesday, 16 February 2016, 23:43 GMT]
0The occupying Sinhala military of genocidal Sri Lanka has been silently consolidating its temporary positions and camps into permanent structures inside the limits of Mannaar Urban Council area within the last 30 days. There are more than 6,000 Sinhala military personnel within the UC area where 25,000 civilians reside. The SL Army, Navy and the STF troopers are stationed at more than 15 positions within the 27 square km. The systematic consolidation of the naval and army cantonments, camps, and positions has taken place despite clear demands from the civil sources to de-militarize the densely populated UC area. The strategic part of the district, commanding both the Palk Bay and the Gulf of Mannaar as well as commanding the closest communication line with the Tamil Nadu coast, has become a hive of intense Sinhala militarisation and demographic changes in recent times.
